Kylie’s background involves working with individuals with intellectual disabilities within the residential group home setting, as well as the school setting and family home setting. Kylie has also had the opportunity to mentor young adults in a gap-year program in Western Canada and South Africa. Through these experiences, Kylie has had the opportunity of coming alongside teams, individuals, and families to hear their incredible stories of bravery and love.

Kylie has observed that it is the telling of our stories in a safe place that allows for pain to be validated and where the process of meaning making begins to take place. Kylie has experienced how transformative it can be to allow others to enter into our pain and treasure the story we carry. 

Kylie received her Master’s in Theology, Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Wilfred Laurier and her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Redeemer University. Kylie continues to pursue training in various modalities such as CBT, internal family systems theory, emotion focused therapy, narrative therapy, spiritually integrated psychotherapy, and existential therapy modalities.

 When Kylie is not in sessions with clients, she can be found bouldering and enjoying the great outdoors with a long hike. Kylie looks forward to hearing your story and accompanying you towards a meaning and hopeful therapeutic experience.
